Application Support Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Possessing specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software
  • Perform analysis of the functionality of software applications and suggest significant improvements.
  • Offer software application support under the supervision of the senior engineer
  • Consult skillfully with the team of software development, clients, and internal users to improve application performance.
  • Providing technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required
  • Assisting with systems integrations
  • Managing ticketed query system and ensuring a comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is kept up to date
  • Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues
  • Managing coordination at a local and international level where required
  • Delivering regular and customized training to teams within the business
  • Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organization s systems
  • Developing reports for teams across the business
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands on experience in application support on Asp.Net, SQL.
  • Should be able to debug production issues and bug fixes.
  • Deployment of products and patches for new projects and/or change requests.
  • Interact and Follow up with the offshore support team for ticket closure within SLA.
  • Ready to work in shifts.
  • Extraordinary customer service and relationship management experience
  • Critical thinking skills
